GSTB1000D-2A: Analog Stainless-Steel Watch with Blue Dial
A deep blue dial and intricate stainless-steel finishing give the GSTB1000D-2A its distinct place in the G-SHOCK G-STEEL collection. This G-SHOCK analog watch pairs a thin case with a stainless-steel bezel and solid stainless-steel band, creating a sharp metal profile with a stunning, refined presence. Hairline brushing across the bezel and band contrasts with polished surfaces, emphasizing the angular design while drawing attention to the circular analog dial. The blue dial is designed to allow light to reach the solar panel beneath the face, supporting Tough Solar functionality within a bold analog G-SHOCK design.
At just 11.6 mm thick, the GSTB1000D-2A balances a slim profile with G-SHOCK durability. Its carbon-reinforced bio-based resin case helps protect the module, while a stainless-steel bezel and solid stainless-steel band give the watch its polished G-STEEL presence. Hairline brushing on the bezel and band works with mirror-polished accents to highlight the angular form around the deep blue dial. Shock resistance, Carbon Core Guard structure, and 200-meter water resistance help preserve toughness inside a refined analog design.
Tough Solar charging powers the watch with sunlight and indoor lighting, while Bluetooth® smartphone connectivity supports automatic time adjustment through the CASIO WATCHES app. The GSTB1000D-2A keeps the clean visual appeal of an analog G-SHOCK while adding modern connected convenience inside its slim G-STEEL design.
The analog watch face includes a 24-hour dial at the 3 o’clock position and a function dial at the 8 o’clock position.
The function hand momentarily points to “ST” when entering Stopwatch Mode and “TR” when entering Timer Mode. In Stopwatch and Timer modes, the function hand and second hand indicate the measurement value, while the hour and minute hands continue to display the current time. This gives the GSTB1000D-2A practical analog timing functionality without relying on a digital display.
In Alarm Mode, the function hand points to “AL,” while the second hand indicates whether the alarm is on or off. In Timekeeping Mode, the function hand indicates the day of the week, completing the dial’s practical hand-based utility.
