Padis Jewelry has been in business for 50 years. Steve Padis started by stringing beads and selling them on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley, California, and eventually grew the business into the best jewelry store in The Bay Area, with the help of his wife (Judy), his daughter (Alexis) and their incredible team. Steve sits on the Jewelers of America Board and The Padis Family was voted into the National Jeweler Retailer Hall of Fame in 2019.

What separates you from other jewelers?

Namely, we own our inventory. This means we always have at least 10,000 diamonds (and tens of thousands of other pieces of jewelry) in stock. Just as important, our diamonds come with an independent grading report from US based labs including the GIA, AGS, and Forevermark, allowing you to shop with complete confidence.

Do your staff work on commission?

Our non-commissioned diamond experts are here for you; their goal is to match the right piece of fine jewelry with its wearer. In each showroom, you can view the most sought-after collections of top tier jewelry designers and watchmakers in a serene, welcoming showroom. When you visit, you will find that the experience is distinct from most other jewelry retailers- we have the largest selection of rings and diamonds in all of California, and our entire inventory is on display, with prices clearly marked.

Padis Jewelry has two GIA Graduate Gemologists on staff at all times, and is proud to be an accredited member of the American Gem Society (AGS). Only 5% of jewelers in the country achieve this status, so our clients are guaranteed that their purchases strictly adhere to the highest standards of measurement and quality.
